Main Characters Tsuke Here's the main character, in all of his androgynous glory. Yes, I did say "he." 
Koyomi Koyomi's the self-proclaimed den-mother of the group. Pound for pound, she's also the most violent! She is Bookwyrm's younger sister; they're supposed to be half-Japanese, but that's slowly evolved out of their character designs...perhaps I can convince EdE to change it to 1/4 Japanese...
Bookwyrm Bookwyrm is an enigmatic fellow. He's pretty happy and goofy most of the time, but he's a bit older than the other kids, and knows a lot more than you'd give him credit for just looking at him. He is Koyomi's older brother, and has albinism.
Puk Puk is a really nice guy. He's a member of a group called the Wayward, which are Krysolis's equivalent to gypsies. When you become part of this group, your previous identity is completely dropped, so Puk's parentage is unknown, though it can be assumed that he has both Japanese and African blood in him.
Maria A very shy Japanese girl with autism and a lot of metaphysical power. She's a Still, a group of people who are born dead, but with great spiritual gifts, and are both crucial to the people of Krysolis for survival, but are also greatly feared and form a class of untouchables.
