Yet another revision here. I decided to completely scrap his colored T-shirt, and made it into a fuzzy sweater type of thing. It looks really good in Photoshop, but the detail didn't translate into the JPEG, so now it just looks like a black hole. Which is rather appropriate and still aesthetically satisfying. The lines and shading in his face seemed too stark against the subtle skin-tones, so I lightened them, which gives his face an entirely softer effect which I am quite pleased with. Between that and his shirt, I just want to reach out and pet him! I also added his hand and glasses, which helps counteract the black void that the lower half of the picture has become. I know that his hand looks too small, but I promise that it isn't. It's a trick of the perspective and lighting.

All in all, a 100% improvement, IMHO!
