Entering Goodbye

Tsuke here is entering a Magic Theatre for the first time. The theatre is called "Last Goodbye," and it's theme is death; specifically the last words of the dying. Each of these graves contains a whisper in the form of a corpse-ghost of the person who whispered it. The kids are after one whisper in particular, and you can just bet that the Theatre Master is less than pleased to have them poking around. Entering a theatre is the greatest desire of many people, but Tsuke isn't exactly prepared for this particular realization of his dream. (Kid shoulda picked a nicer plot to edit himself into!)

I'd be happier with this if it didn't look like his hand is turned to stone in that top panel there. It's not, he's just in black and white-o-vision.

Here we have a two page spread (you can tell it's two pages 'cause I forgot to take out the pink line that marks where the fold would be) with no gutter.  (The "gutter" is the space between two pages, where the fold of the book pinches them in and makes it hard to read or see images. Some comics compensate for this by breaking the continuous image up into two halves and leaving a little white space in the crease of the book, so that none of the information is lost.)I think that, were I to actually publish this somewhere, I would definately alter it to include at least a small gutter, though it would break up the flow of the image. I dunno.
